This ain't going to happen. They have said several times that they'll consider anything with enough demand, but people have been asking for this from the moment they announced they would be hosting all servers, and all of their points (all, like, 1 or 2 of them) have been proven false countless times.

As much as I would love to see player hosted servers I agree that it is unlikely to happen unless everyone wants it.
