DAILY GAMEMODE SERVER

From Nov 1st to Nov 6th we have highlight a gamemode for the entire day. Most likely CTF, TOW, BABEL, PUSH, KOTH, and ARENA.

We will also have 3 BLUE vs GREEN MASTER RACE BATTLE servers. Running continuously for 3 days as in no map change from November 3rd to November 6th.

MASTER RACE EVENT CLASSIC CTF

Server #1 idea is as close to vanilla CTF classicgen as the old timers remember it, the only difference being that the gameplay/map will run continuously for 3 days and the team with the most caps on Nov. 6 @ 11:59 PM UTC wins.

MASTER RACE EVENT LAND CLAIM

Server #2 idea is only a maybe but it would be something like Triplefox's original territory control script in which you build blocks on your team's side of the map and destroy blocks on the enemy's side of the map to earn points for your team. Also continuous for 3 days and the team with the most points (not caps) on Nov. 6 @ 11:59 PM UTC wins.

MASTER RACE EVENT BUILD DESTROY

Server #3 idea is a build and destroy game mode where there are 20 minute rounds that switch between build-only and battle-only. Also continuous for 3 days and the team with the most caps on Nov. 6 @ 11:59 PM UTC wins.

Whichever team has the most server wins on Nov. 6 @ 11:59 PM UTC is the true master race.

1st ANNUAL 24 HOUR BUILD SERVER

If we can ensure round the clock moderation we will have 24 hour build server on November 5th. After 24 hours we will save the map and share it with the world.

In addition to those in game events we will have a guest book thread, sign it and you will get the 1 year anniversary badge.

Season 3 has officially started click here to sign up. So far 16 teams have signed up, 7 games, and 35 caps in the first week. SturmStaffel has taken an early lead with 4 straight victories.

Monstarules is hosting a mod making competition. Registration has closed to new participates but they are currently voting on the theme of the mod Competition. Expect some amazing new kv6's in the future.

The IceCraft servers are ran by Icecraft and a handful of other admins. They recently started a 0.76 server hosted in the USA. They are currently hosting all the league maps plus a few others. A good change of pace if you do not want to play on the official server but want a fully monitored server. aos://3057998871:32777

This newsletter we will be taking another look at some classic maps more specifically Mitosis Islands and Beaulieu Abbey.

Mitosis Islands

Mitosis Islands is very unique. The map design is based off the cycles of cell division. In the map the two cells are soon linked but you can make the cycle go faster in game by breaking the bridges. The bodies of the two cells are also very detailed, they make a small castle that forms a good defense against ether team. Both stormwind and shams little pony have Mitosis Islands in rotation.


Beaulieu Abbey

This map is best played on infiltration but it is also fun while playing CTF and ToW too. Beaulieu Abbey is based off an existing abbey but it isn't 100% accurate. An abbey for those that don't know is a place occupied by monks or nuns. They would go there to pray and meditate. In the middle of the map is a small tower that makes a cross roads leading to the abbey. There are lots of trees as you can see to. If you can get on them they make a good sniping position. Beaulieu Abbey is currently in rotation on the aloha infiltration server. Both of the maps are great classics!
