Build and Shoot

Hi. I'm new to the forums :3. I downloaded the mac version for build and shoot/ace of spades classic, and I was wondering how to join a server? Whenever I run the Ace of Spades application, no windows come up or anything, and after a few seconds, it crashes.
I'm on OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 if anybody's wondering.
Also, when I tried joining a server on windows, nothing happens. I click the server name in the server list on the website, and it just brings up another window of the startup window when I open up build and shoot. If you can, I'd really like it if you could help me solve both problems! Thanks!

did you try openspades?

OpenSpades should work as long as you have a decent computer

Well, I got it working on Windows, but I'm still confused on how to make it work on Mac. Please help.

What mac version did you download?

0.75 I believe. That's the latest version isn't it?

I meant as in where did you get said version.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you mean where I downloaded it from, I got it from the second link in the Mac tutorial on the wiki site.

Is it that nobody cares, or that it's taking while to get back?

Well, EdwardR hasn't updated or provided support for a year and no one has come forth having problems with it, so either no one is using it or no one else is having problems, so you can't really blame anyone for not helping or having time to.

And, we can't really help you with no errors or anything. For all we know, you are missing dependencies to run the game.
