Cannot join my own server

I have my server up and running. Other people are able to connect to it, but I cannot connect.

I am port forwarding.

I am connecting to my server by using .bat file with the contents "client.exe "aos://(myserver'sid)"" I do this because the game will
not launch by clicking on a server name. (I don't know why, but this works when I connect to other servers).

Everytime I try to join my server it just says "Server connection failed" The window's title is "ERROR"

Please Help.

Update:
I sent a friend the files and he ran the server. He could not connect to it then, but a different friend could. I still could not connect.

I put the files on one of my other computers and ran the server, but I still could not connect. My friends could.

I dont know if i`ll help too much , but i think it is something with Port Forwarding.

If you are hosting the server personally, you are required to connect by using LocalHost connection.
