How to make a private server?

I was making some maps, and I want to actually try them out in the game. I don't want people to be able to join the server though, I want it so that only I can access it. Can someone tell me a way to do this? Sorry if there was a different place I should have posted this, XD I'm new. I'm using version 0.77 btw, and I can't watch videos on my computer (don't ask) so make sure that it is a text tutorial.

Unless you have port forwarded no one can join except you. You can also set the master to false in the config then just click local host connect on the server list if you want.
