I don´t really know what this is for because in germany Application means something similar to usage and I think this section isn´t made to give us the ability to give you ideas for what to use admins, is it? :D

Good point. That is even a valid interpretation of the word "application" in English.
If you're confused, think of this as an "admin signup section".

The English word "application" translates to "Anwendung," which can mean many different things. In this case, it the same as "applikation"

I am sure you won't be able to apply for being a site-admin. I am sure it is for appling to be a mod or sth like this.

I think it might be for servers that don't have a website.
It's probably the server advertising section from the old Forums.
