What are the benefits of winning?

The rules aren't clear enough to me on submitting - I understand that a name must be provided, but what else? Do we simply wait until the deadline and then submit the almighty gun we've been working on, or is it something else?

-I have yet to participate in a modding competiton, so I just want to be informed for the next one. If you can think of any obvious questions that may be asked in the future, please tell me when answering the above, if possible.
